Sinochem News recently, Borealis said that the company has received a binding offer from EuroChem to acquire Borealis' nitrogen business (including fertilizers and melamine) at a price of 455 million euros
.
The full transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2022

As a vertically integrated company, EuroChem is expanding its production and distribution capabilities in key regions of the world
Borealis operates fertilizer production plants in the heart of key crop-producing regions in Austria and France, and has more than 50 distribution points in Europe, supplying a network of approximately 4 million tonnes of product (including approximately 150,000 tonnes of melamine) per year to Western, Central and South-Eastern Europe
.
Under the terms of the agreement, EuroChem will acquire fertiliser and melamine production assets in Linz, Austria, melamine production assets in Petritz, Germany, and fertiliser production in Hautemarsheim, Gumpz and Grand Querville, France.
