Egypt-Kuwait Holding, listed on the Boursa Kuwait and Egyptian Exchange, announced that its subsidiary, National Electric Technology Co, has begun construction of a power plant in Borg El Arab, with an investment of about 550 million Egyptian pounds

EKH added in its filing to the Egyptian Exchange that the project aims to increase the national power company's electricity capacity from 75 MW to 115 MW

According to the document, the company expects to complete these expansions
in the first quarter of 2020.
