Abstract: in this experiment, the multi-functional additives for pigs were made from Eucommia leaves, hawthorn, Astragalus and other Chinese herbal medicines by alcohol extraction The effects of the additives on the physiological and biochemical indexes of pigs in different stages were observed The results showed that the Chinese herbal medicine additive could significantly increase the blood Cho content in different stages (P0.05); therefore, the Chinese herbal medicine additive could promote the growth of growing and finishing pigs, improve the immunity of piglets and the carcass lean rate of growing and finishing pigs, and was a safe and pollution-free feed additive Key words: the influence of Chinese herbal medicine additive, growth and fattening pig, blood biochemical index With the improvement of people's life quality and self-care consciousness, the quality of food has become the key to determine people's needs The non polluting, non residual and pollution-free food is more and more favored by people Therefore, it is of great significance to replace antibiotics with natural Chinese herbal medicine additives The research on the relationship between blood enzyme activity and production performance of pigs at home and abroad mainly focuses on blood enzyme activity and daily gain, carcass and meat quality, daily lean meat quantity and other aspects Under the guidance of the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine, according to the growth characteristics and laws of pigs, combined with the practical problems in pig production, we have screened out the compound formula of natural Chinese herbal medicine for pig feed additive, extracted and concentrated the effective ingredients of the compound Chinese herbal medicine, added them to the feed in a certain proportion, and carried out the feeding experiment of growing and fattening pigs, and studied the Chinese herbal medicine additive The effects of Chinese herbal medicine additives on the growth, carcass quality and meat quality of growing finishing pigs were revealed Materials and methods 1.1 twenty four healthy 40 day old weaned piglets (Changbai × Rongchang binary hybrid) were randomly divided into three groups according to the principle of similar body weight and half male and half female, which were Chinese herbal medicine additive group, antibiotic group and blank control group, with two replicates in each group and four pigs in each replicate 1.2 test materials 1.2.1 test kit: alkaline phosphatase (ALP) kit, alanine aminotransferase (ALT / GPT) kit, aspartate aminotransferase (AST / got) kit, total protein (TP) kit, albumin (ALB) kit, total cholesterol (TC) kit, provided by Biosciences and Technology Co., Ltd 1.2.2 test apparatus: multifunctional Chinese medicine extractor (Hunan), spray dryer (Jiangsu Wuxi), automatic biochemical analyzer (AGII USA), centrifuge Gentra-MP49 (2438 USA) 1.2.3 basic diet and feeding management: basic diet and nutrition level are the same in each group The experiment was carried out in the pig farm of Chongqing Institute of pig breeding from March 2003 to July 2003 The feeding management was carried out according to the routine, free drinking water and free feeding During the experiment, diarrhea pigs were not treated with drugs 1.3 determination index and method 1.3.1 sample collection and preparation: on the 35th day of the test and in the morning before slaughtering, blood samples were collected from the anterior vena cava The collected blood samples (5-6ml) were left at room temperature for half an hour, and centrifuged at 2000-2500r / min for 10 minutes after the serum was separated out to prepare the serum samples for standby 1.3.2 determination of serum physiological and biochemical indexes: ALP disodium phosphate method, alanine aminotransferase (GPT) - Lai's method, aspartate aminotransferase (got) - Lai's method, total protein (TP) - biuret method, albumin (ALB) - biuret method and total cholesterol (CHO) - enzyme method as described in the kit 1.3.3 data processing and analysis: the data are represented by the mean ± standard deviation, and all data are processed in the unit of ration SPSS statistical software is used for variance analysis Results the effects of Chinese herbal medicine additive on the contents of TP, ALB, CHO, glo, Hb, RBC and the activities of GPT, got and ALP in serum of 20-70kg growing finishing pigs are shown in Table 1 and table 2 2.1 effect of Chinese herbal medicine additives on blood physiological and biochemical indexes of 20-30kg pigs From table 1, it can be seen that in the 20-30kg stage, the serum TP content of the Chinese herbal medicine additive group and the antibiotic group increased by 10.60% (P > 0.05) and 2.56% (P > 0.05) respectively compared with the control group, and the serum glo content of the Chinese herbal medicine additive group and the antibiotic group increased by 7.84% (P > 0.05) compared with the antibiotic group; the serum glo content of the Chinese herbal medicine additive group and the antibiotic group increased by 13.11% (p.05) respectively compared with the control group The content of serum Cho in Chinese herbal medicine additive group and antibiotic group increased by 17.90% (P0.05) and 12.35% (P > 0.05) respectively compared with the control group The activity of ALP in Chinese herbal medicine additive group and antibiotic group increased by 10.31% compared with the control group (P0.05) The serum got activity of Chinese herbal medicine additive group was 29.18% lower than that of antibiotic group and control group (P0.05) Compared with the control group, the content of serum glo in the antibiotic group increased by 14.71% (P0.05) and 9.40% (P > 0.05); the content of serum glo in the Chinese herbal medicine additive group and the antibiotic group increased by 6.08% (P > 0.05) and 9.63% (P > 0.05) respectively The content of serum Cho in Chinese herbal medicine additive group was 20.45% higher than that in antibiotic group and control group (P0.05) The activity of ALP in Chinese herbal medicine additive group and antibiotic group was 7.76% higher than that in control group (P0.05) The serum got activity in the Chinese herbal medicine additive group was 23.12% lower than that in the antibiotic group (P > 0.05), 1.86% higher than that in the control group (P > 0.05), and 25.42% higher than that in the antibiotic group (P > 0.05) There was no significant difference in ALB, Hb, RBC content and GPT activity among the three groups Tab 2 the effect of Chinese herb medicine feed addition on the physiology index of the blood of the 30-70kg pigs Note: there were significant differences (P0.05) and 2.56% (P > 0.05), 9.40% (P > 0.05) and 1.01% (P > 0.05) in different shoulder sizes of the same line; glo content increased by 13.11% (P > 0.05), 9.63% (P > 0.05) and 3.34% (P > 0.05) respectively, ALB content did not change much; serum protein content, 30-70kg stage, increased compared with 20-30kg stage, and serum protein content increased with the increase of age, which could be improved by the test It can be seen that in the growth stage, protein metabolism and amino acid utilization of pigs are enhanced, which is manifested by the acceleration of growth speed [2] After using Chinese herbal medicine additives, pigs secrete GH, ig-fi, T3, T4, camp and other hormones, which means that the body increases TP and glo in the growth period through the neuroendocrine pathway, so as to enhance the energy mobilization and humoral immune function The antibody situation measured by us has been further confirmed Astragalus in the Chinese herbal medicine we used can significantly enhance the phagocytic function of reticuloendothelial cells According to reports [4], Astragalus has the same effect on enhancing immunity as BCG It can also promote the transformation function of healthy lymphoblasts and induce interferon in animals or human body 3.2 changes of serum ALP activity the level of serum ALP activity reflects the growth status of animals Because it is an isoenzyme with genetic markers, the level of serum ALP activity can reflect the growth speed and production performance Zhu Nianhua's study showed that ALP activity was positively correlated with daily gain of pigs [5] The results showed that in the 20-30kg and 30-70kg stages, the Chinese herbal medicine additive group and antibiotic group increased by 10.31% (P0.05) and 7.76% (P0.05) respectively compared with the control group It can be seen that the Chinese herbal medicine additive can improve the daily gain of pigs at different stages and improve the feed return rate This has been proved in our other experiments 3.3 the change of serum Cho content the content of serum Cho reflects the absorption of lipids [6] The absorption of lipids is good, which means that the deposition of lipids in the body is less, that is to say, the lean meat rate of pigs has increased It was found that in the 20-30kg and 30-70kg stages, the Chinese herbal medicine additive group and antibiotic group increased by 17.90% (P0.05) and 26.35% (P0.05) respectively compared with the control group; therefore, the Chinese herbal medicine additive can significantly improve the lean meat rate of growing finishing pigs 3.4 changes of serum GPT, GOP, Hb and RBC alanine aminotransferase (GPT) was distributed in the cytoplasm of hepatocytes, while aspartate aminotransferase (got) was distributed in the cytoplasm and mitochondria of hepatocytes The main manifestation of acute hepatitis and mild chronic hepatitis is the increase of GPT The results showed that in the stage of 20-30kg and 30-70kg, the Chinese herbal medicine additive group decreased by 23.12% (P > 0.05), 1.86% (P > 0.05) and 25.42% (P > 0.05) compared with the control group, the Chinese herbal medicine additive group decreased by 23.12% (P > 0.05) and 1.86% (P > 0.05) compared with the antibiotic group, while the antibiotic group exceeded the control group by 25.42 (P > 0.05) Therefore, the use of antibiotics has different degrees of damage to the liver, while Chinese herbal additives have no damage to the liver The content of Hb and RBC had no significant change, and had no effect on the growth of pigs 4 Conclusion adding Chinese herbal medicine additive to the diets of growing and finishing pigs can significantly affect the blood Cho content and ALP activity in different stages, and significantly increase the glo content in piglets The results show that Chinese herbal medicine additive can promote the growth of growing and finishing pigs, improve the immunity of piglets and the carcass lean rate of growing and finishing pigs, and it is a safe and pollution-free feed additive References: [1] effects of Chinese herbal medicine additives such as Zhang Xianqin, Ge Changrong, Tian Yunbo on Carcass Characteristics and meat quality of growing and finishing pigs [J] Journal of Yunnan Agricultural University, 2002, 17 (1): 86-90 [2] and the effects of Chinese herbal medicine additives such as Shaoyu, Tian Yunbo, Zhang Jingxing on growth performance of growing and finishing pigs [J] Journal of Yunnan Agricultural University, 2002, 17 (1): 75-80 [3] Tian Yunbo, Gao Shizheng, Zhang Xi, et al Study on the effect of Chinese herbal medicine additives on the endocrine of growing finishing pigs [J] Journal of Yunnan Agricultural University, 2002, 17 (2): 170-175 [4] Lin bin, Qiu Jiantai, Huang Canghai, et al Effect of Chinese herbal medicine on blood biochemical indexes of early weaning diarrhea in piglets [J] Journal of Fujian agriculture, 2000, 15 (4): 37-40 [5] Zhu Nianhua, Xiao Yongzuo relationship between blood biochemical indexes of growing pigs and production performance and meat quality [J] Jiangxi Animal Husbandry and veterinary medicine, 1997, 10 (1): 13-17 [6] animal biochemistry of Beijing Agricultural University [M] Beijing: Agricultural Press, 1980
