3.1 Effects of different promoters on the performance of the same polyester epoxy powder coating

With this promoter powder coating, when baking and curing 15 min at different temperatures of 180 degrees C, 190 degrees C and 200 degrees C, the gloss of the coating film varies greatly, but there is no obvious effect on the impact strength of the coating film at room temperature, however, the impact strength under freezing has a certain impact.
The results of this test show that the same promoter has a very different effect on the performance of powder coatings and coatings made from different manufacturers of polyester resins, so it is necessary to go through a comparative test between different polyester resins and promoters to select the best match between polyester resins and promoters.

3.3 Effects of different promoter dosages on polyester epoxy powder coatings

Conclusion

In short, in order to obtain a suitable reaction activity, excellent coating mechanical properties (especially under freezing shock strength) and good heat resistance (small color difference) polyester epoxy powder coating, must choose a good promoter variety and dosage, but also choose a good polyester resin varieties (manufacturers) to match.
