Eastman partners with technology company SAP to track product recycled content

Eastman Chemical Company is working with technology company SAP SE on a project to make it possible to trace certified recycled content across the value chain

SAP's GreenToken uses blockchain technology to give sustainable products visibility along the value chain, including specialty plastics made with Eastman molecular recycling technology

Eastman, based in Kingsport, Tennessee, said in a release that the platform aims to provide brands and consumers with traceable information on product sustainability, such as certified recycling in products, through data transparency enabled by blockchain.
