On the evening of September 22, the meat processing company Delis released information about recent research activities, saying that it has reduced the scale of its low-margin slaughtering business to below 60%; in the future, it plans to set up a marketing headquarters in Beijing and open 50 flagship stores across the country.
According to data, Delis is mainly engaged in slaughter of pigs, deep processing of meat products, processing of quick-frozen prepared products, and fine processing of beef series products
At present, Delis has realized the low gross profit of the slaughter business and intends to control the scale of the slaughter business.
Focusing on the pre-prepared vegetable business, Delis said that it is currently adopting the B-end first strategy, mainly to tap the high-end, medium and large-scale catering enterprise customers with high quality requirements and low price sensitivity
Regarding the company’s long-term strategy, Delis said it plans to set up a marketing headquarters in Beijing, a second marketing headquarters in Shanghai, and 50 flagship stores in Shandong and major cities with developed economies and dense populations in the North, Northwest, Northeast, and East China regions.
