Global warming and extreme high temperature seriously threaten the growth and development of plants and the yield and quality of crops
Recently, Liu Jianxiang's research group from the School of Life Sciences of Zhejiang University published a research paper titled A competition-attenuation mechanism modulates thermoresponsive growth at warm temperatures in plants online on New Phytologist
In this study, the authors proved through genetic analysis and phenotypic experiments that RVE5 is a negative regulator of plant thermomorphogenesis.
