This branch line project is one of the safeguard measures of Zhangjiakou City’s "gas to coal" project, and it is of great significance to further improve the level of clean energy in Zhangjiakou area, promote the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, and implement the concept of "green Olympics"
.

The branch line project has a total length of 173.
7 kilometers and is composed of 6 pipelines.
There are 11 sub-transmission stations along the line, with a designed annual gas transmission volume of 3.
2 billion cubic meters and a total investment of 1.
26 billion yuan
.

Among them, the Huaian branch line, Huailai branch line, Xiahuayuan (including Zhuolu) branch line, and Yingzhang connecting line, which are the Zhangjiakou "gas to coal" project, are scheduled to be put into operation in October this year

The Shaanxi-Beijing fourth-line natural gas pipeline starts from Jingbian, Shaanxi and passes through Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, and Beijing.
It is an important channel for the transportation of imported natural gas from Central Asia and domestic natural gas in the west

It was completed and put into operation in November 2017 .
