The government-controlled Coal Corporation of India has announced that it will add 20 GW of solar power in the next decade to promote the diversification of

"For coal companies in India to be sustainable, we have to diversify
.
We have defined a roadmap and are making a big push for solar power with a target of producing 20 MW over the next 10 years," said
Gopal Singh, Chairman and General Manager, Coal India.
However, Gopal Singh did not elaborate on the company's investment plans
