CNOOC's gas supply to Macao reached a record high, with a cumulative gas supply of more than 1.1 billion cubic meters

As of December 19, CNOOC Zhuhai Pipeline Natural Gas Co.
, Ltd.
(hereinafter referred to as Zhuhai Pipeline), a subsidiary of CNOOC Gas & Power Group, supplied more than 117 million cubic meters of gas to Macao in 2022, an increase of nearly 40% year-on-year and a record high
in the past three years.
As the only natural gas resource supplier in Macao, the Zhuhai pipeline has supplied more than 1.
1 billion cubic meters of gas since it began supplying gas to Macao in 2008, providing stable and clean energy for Macao's economic and
social development.

The main pipeline network of Zhuhai pipeline operation and management connects marine gas resources such as Liwan 3-1 gas field, "Shenhai No.
1" ultra-deepwater atmospheric field and liquefied natural gas resources such as Zhuhai LNG, and connects the national pipeline network Guangdong Provincial Network, Zhuhai Thermal Power, Macao Natural Gas and other end users, and the gas supply range radiates to cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area such as Zhuhai, Zhongshan and Macao
.
Among them, the "Hengqin-Macao" gas pipeline is the only high-pressure natural gas transmission channel
to Macao.

In January 2008, natural gas from CNOOC's Huizhou 21-1 gas field was transported to Macao for the first time through the Hengqin-Macao
pipeline.
At this point, the use of heavy oil power generation by Macao power plants has become history, and at the same time opened the curtain
on the utilization of clean energy.
Since then, CNOOC has made full use of its own offshore gas production and imported liquefied natural gas (LNG) in offshore oil and gas fields, building a pattern
of complementary multiple gas sources and safe supply.

With the arrival of the peak gas consumption in winter, in order to ensure safe and stable gas supply, Zhuhai Pipeline has strengthened risk control at various stations, strengthened the maintenance of equipment and facilities, improved the emergency management mechanism, improved the efficiency and stability of winter supply, and ensured the smooth and efficient
gas supply to Macao.
