    On November 30, Clariant announced that it will cooperate with Evonik and thyssenkrupp Engineering GmbH to support Zibo Qixiang Tengda Chemical Co.

    It is reported that in order to extend and build a carbon three industry chain, Qi Xiang Tengda is building a new propylene oxide plant
    in Zibo City, Shandong Province.
    The plant, designed with an annual capacity of 300,000 metric tons, uses HPPO process technology from Evonik and thyssenkrupp to convert propylene directly into propylene oxide using hydrogen peroxide
    .

    In the refining process, Clariant's NiSat 310 catalyst converts 95% or more of unreacted hydrogen peroxide to water and hydrogenation of aldehyde by-products to alcohols
    .
    NiSat The 310 catalyst not only increases the purity of propylene oxide, but also extends the service life
    of the HPPO catalyst supplied by Evonik for the main oxidation reaction.

    Kunze Yan, President of Clariant's Catalysts business unit, said: "HPPO process technology from Evonik-thyssenkrupp and Clariant NiSat Combined with 310 catalysts, 310 catalysts are a more cost-effective solution for high-purity propylene oxide production and minimization
