Recently, the wave power generation device developed by China Electronics Technology Group Corporation 38 passed the acceptance of the State Oceanic Administration, which broke through the key technology
of wave energy hydraulic conversion and control device module and kilovolt-level power inverter.
This technology realizes wave stable power generation, and can still frequently store energy under wave conditions less than 0.
5 meters high, which lays a foundation
for the engineering application of wave power generation in China.
Wang Zhenhui, project leader of "38 Institute", introduced that this technological breakthrough is a phased achievement
of the national wave energy project "80kW wave energy hydraulic conversion and control device module and key technology of kilovolt-level power inverter" undertaken by the institute in 2014.
The project is supported by China Ocean Energy Special Fund, and plans to complete laboratory tests and marine reality tests within 2-3 years, with the goal of improving the conversion efficiency of hydraulic conversion and control modules and developing high-efficiency kV wide power inverter systems
.
It is understood that China's marine energy utilization is currently in the early stage from technology research and development to commercial application, and has not really achieved large-scale commercial development
.
In recent years, the central government has increased financial support for marine energy through special funds and science and technology plans, which has promoted the rapid improvement
of China's marine energy technology research and development level.
In terms of wave energy, China's wave energy technology has carried out dozens of device sea trials and small-scale demonstration applications, and some technologies have reached the international advanced level
