China-WHO Joint Research Report on the Traceability of the New Coronavirus Released: The New Coronavirus is "Extremely Improbable" to pass through the laboratory |
On March 30, the World Health Organization released the China-WHO Joint Research Report on the Traceability of the New Coronavirus.
From January 14th to February 10th this year, 17 Chinese experts and 17 foreign experts formed a joint expert group, which was divided into three groups: epidemiology, molecular traceability, and animal and environment.
A briefing for WHO member states was held on the same day.
Liang Wannian, the leader of the Chinese expert group, said at the meeting that the relevant report is the result of the joint efforts of Chinese and foreign experts, and it embodies the joint efforts of Chinese and foreign experts in the joint expert group.
Ambassador Chen Xu, Permanent Representative of China to Geneva, said that international experts from China and the World Health Organization have demonstrated a scientific and open spirit.
