Chilean kiwifruit exports are coming to an end, with exports to China down 56% year-on-year

Statistics from theChilean Kiwi Committee show that as of the 40th week, Chile has exported 146,747 tons of kiwis this season

This figure is higher than the original estimate of 140,000 tons, an increase of 1% over the same period last year

From a market perspective, Europe is still the main market for Chilean kiwifruit, with an import volume of 52,000 tons

Latin America ranked second with 34,500 tons, and North America's imports increased by 26% year-on-year, ranking third with 26,600 tons

From a national perspective, the United States is the largest importer of Chilean kiwifruit.
Imports this season have reached 23,680 tons, a year-on-year increase of 27%
.
The Netherlands followed closely with 16,885 tons, an increase of 51% year-on-year

India ranked third with 13,856 tons, an increase of 26% year-on-year, accounting for 64% of Asia's total imports

This was followed by Italy with 12,297 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 11%

Chilean kiwifruit exports to China fell sharply this season.
As of the 40th week, the export volume was 4280 tons, a decrease of 56% from the 9,737 tons in the same period last year

Chilean kiwifruit exports to China peaked at 21,355 tons in 2019, and then began to decline
