On February 17, CGN announced that four sets of STEP-12 nuclear fuel assemblies and four sets of CZ zirconium alloy sample tube assemblies independently developed and designed by the company were officially loaded into Unit 1 of the second phase of Lingao Nuclear Power Station and subjected to irradiation testing
with the reactor.
This indicates that CGN Power has fully mastered the research, design, manufacture and testing technology
of nuclear fuel assemblies.
