The first batch of central environmental protection inspectors "looked back" and 6 inspection teams successively conducted investigations on 10 provinces including Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Henan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, and Ningxia from May 30 to June 7.
During the stationing period, the inspection team had individual talks with 140 leading cadres, including 51 provincial leaders and 89 major leaders from departments and cities; 101 provincial-level departments and units were interviewed; more than 69,000 copies of information were accessed.
As of July 7, the locals had handled 28,076 reports of ecological and environmental issues assigned by the masses.
