    Cambodia sends 120 tons of frozen durians to China for the first time

    According to the Phnom Penh Post, Cambodia's Preah Vihear province (Preah Vihear) Golden Pillow Durian cultivation and export company TKY Farm has shipped more than 120 tons of durians to the Chinese
    market via Thailan.
     
    According to reports, the export was completed by TKY Farm in cooperation with a Chinese compa.
    The price of durians is similar to that of Kampot and Kampong Ch.
    It is planned to expand the export volume to 500 tons by 202
     
    TKY Farm is one of the largest durian producers in Preah Vihe.
    CEO Yi Sinath said that the company has been planting durians for eight years and has invested in planting more than 200 hectares of durians in Preah Vihear province, with a total of 16,000 tre.
    The durian production at the plantation has been steadily increasing every year, with 4,000 durian trees ready to be harvested this year, yielding more than 300 tons, and another 2,000 durian trees are expected to start bearing fruit next ye.
     
    Currently, only bananas and mangoes in Cambodia have been admitted by Chinese custo.
    The access process for longan has entered the final stage, and it is expected that the first batch of Pailin longan will be exported to China in September this ye.
    Due to the limited supply of Cambodian fruit, the export negotiations to China have been hindered, and Cambodian durians have not yet entered the stage of phytosanitary requirements negotiatio.
