On February 15, Cabot Corporation announced the opening of a new specialty compound facility in Cilegon, Indonesia

The new capacity will provide a reliable local supply to support the rapid development of the masterbatch and conductive compound markets in Southeast Asia and globally, meeting the growing demand for specialty compounds everywhere

The specialty compounds plant will incorporate Cabot's latest technological achievements into plant design and operations

"As a global leader in black masterbatches and conductive compounds, we are pleased to open this new facility to expand the company's global presence and better serve the region," said Aaron Johnson, senior vice president and president, Formulation Solutions, Cabot.
