With the high growth of the Turkish transportation market, the number of cars is expected to increase with the increase

Currently, there are about 1,500 electric vehicles and more than 1,000 charging stations

In addition to adding electric vehicles, the report also predicts that the number of EV charging stations will increase to 1 million
by 2030.
For the global market, the report notes that global EV inventories are expected to reach 250 million units
by 2030.
At the same time, the report said that Turkey's total electricity demand is expected to grow by 5%, and if the expected investment materializes, then the distribution network will have the capacity of
electric vehicles.
Selahattin Hakman, head of the SHURA steering committee, said: "We expect the number of EV users to increase due to
population growth and the opportunities presented by EVs.
”
Hakman said the use of electric vehicles will also bring environmental benefits
.
The increase in the number of these vehicles will reduce CO2 emissions
.
Nevertheless, according to Deger Saygin, coordinator of SHURA companies, the electric vehicle market will first grow
in the area covering the Istanbul-Ankara highway.
Saygin also said that public charging stations will also become more widespread
.
The market in this area will show similarities
with the Chinese market.
