According to information from the Burundi Office of Palm Oil (OHP), the price of palm oil, the main consumer product of Burundians, has risen significantly recent.
Palm oil production is falling due to the dry season, while demand is growi.
The number of people consuming palm oil is increasing and more than 99% of Burundians consume only palm oil because it is cheaper than other oi.
