It is reported that LG Chem provides plastic raw materials for Innerbottle to produce cosmetic containers.
The used Innerbottle containers are recycled through CJ Logistics.
Finally, LG Chem and Innerbottle recycle them as raw materials

The container is made only of LG Chem's plastic raw materials, and is recovered and recycled through a dedicated system, so 100% of plastic resources can be recycled
.

Consumers can apply for refilling of cosmetics through the Innerbottle online platform "Ireon" or the App, and then place the empty container and bottle at their doorstep, and the courier of CJ Logistics will come to the door to collect and deliver the refilled finished product

At the same time, the Innerbottle will carry out cleaning work to recycle the recovered product containers
.
If the containers cannot be used any longer, LG Chem will purchase them and recycle them to make new plastic raw materials

It is understood that the original repeated filling physical stores can provide filling services, but because consumers must carry containers to offline stores, the operation process is cumbersome

On the other hand, "Ireon" adopts an online method, which allows consumers to easily refill products and recycle containers

All products sold by "Ireon" use the dedicated refillable containers of the Innerbottle solution

The container is green and environmentally friendly, and is divided into two layers, the outer layer is a plastic bottle, and the inner layer is a balloon-shaped shrinkable silicone bag

Cosmetics are only stored in the inner silicone bag, so the outer plastic container can be reused after simple cleaning

Moreover, the outer container is also made of recycled waste plastics in daily life, which can effectively reduce plastic waste and carbon emissions

Currently, LG Chem is conducting joint research to apply the produced NB latex to Innerbottle's silicone bags
