Luis Siles, deputy minister of Bolivia's Ministry of Productive Development and Multi-Economy (MDPyEP), recently reported that Bolivia's per capita milk consumption has increased from 42 to 65 liters
in 11 years (2011 to 2021) thanks to national policy guidance.

Cyrus said that during this period, the government allocated more than 435 million Boliviano through the Fondo Pro Leche Fund to strengthen primary production and consumption promotion activities
in the dairy food sector.
