Belarus' PVC imports from January to April increased by 45% year-on-year

According to the ICIS website on June 21, according to the MRC DataScope report, in the first four months of 2021, Belarus' total imports of unmixed polyvinyl chloride (PVC) were 18,500 tons, a year-on-year increase of 45%
.

The Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus said that due to the limited stocks of major Russian suppliers, local conversion units could not fully replenish PVC stocks in April this year
.

Imports of unblended PVC were around 4,200 tonnes in April, compared with 5,300 tonnes in the previous month

From January to April this year, the import volume of unmixed PVC reached 18,500 tons, compared with 12,800 tons in the same period last year

Russian producers accounted for about 91% of the Belarusian market and were the main suppliers of resins during this period

German producers account for about 7% and are the second largest supplier
