It was learned from the Beijing Food and Drug Administration that as of the end of April, there were 63,800 catering service units in Beijing, of which 35,800 had completed the construction of the "Sunshine Catering" project, accounting for 56.

It is expected that by the end of 2018, the Sunshine Catering Project will fully cover Beijing's large, medium and primary schools, nursery institutions, pension institutions canteens and central kitchens, collective dining distribution units, and time-honored catering enterprises.

If "Sunshine Catering" brings consumers a "visible" safe consumption experience, then the Capital Catering Quality Improvement Project will bring consumers a whole-process consumption upgrade experience

In 2018, the first batch of 5,000 "Sunshine Catering" enterprises and 50 "Sunshine Catering" streets (districts and villages) in Beijing will take the lead in launching an action plan to improve the quality of the catering industry and implement the demonstration standards for quality catering enterprises
