World Agrochemical Network Chinese Network reported: Recently, multinational company BASF has launched three new grape fungicides to the Chilean table grape market: Melyra, Cevya fungicide and Serifel biocide
    .

Chile is one of the major fruit exporters in the southern hemisphere, and table grapes are a very important crop
in Chile and even in the international market.

Disease control involves the use of well-controlled, widely tolerated active molecules and the observance of strict grape destination market regulations
    .

Melyra and Cevya are members of the Revysol (Clofluketrazole) family, a novel fungal molecule designed by BASF to manage complex diseases, including resistant plant pathogens
    .

Repsol is an active ingredient unlike other demethylation inhibitors (DMIs) on the market, it is the first isopropanazole ingredient, and the unique chemical composition helps ensure excellent binding ability and adaptability
    through its flexibility.
"This effect provides special control, even for plant pathogen strains
    with reduced sensitivity to DMI.
In addition, Revysol has environmentally friendly toxicological properties, complemented by technical properties, making it an essential part of vine control programmes," BASF explains
    .

Melyra is a mixture of Revysol and pyrazole ether esters that help control powdery mildew during the budding phase even when subjected to severe disease stress, in addition, Melyra provides good physiological effects for plant tissues that minimize low temperature damage
    .

Cevya can effectively control powdery mildew and gray mold in the vine during flowering
    .
Helps to establish a long-term, sustainable control program and also helps to rotate different modes of action, avoiding or slowing down the emergence of antifungal strains
    .

Serifel is BASF's first biocide based on the decomposition of Bacillus amyloidosus for table grapes
    .
Serifel's bacillus concentration is high and at low doses per hectare it also very effective
against grape vine gray mold and acid rot.

BASF is convinced that this new generation of fungicides "strengthens the choice of solutions for table grape agriculture and remains committed to providing innovation that supports a sustainable future that will contribute to the success of
    table grape growers and farmers.
