March 16, from the Baigou New Town Public Security Bureau learned that since the sword-slashing "100-day attack" operation, the Bureau has cracked down on pollution of the environment crime, and recently successfully investigated a case of pollution of the environment, caught on the spot 2 illegal personnel.
According to the police, since March 2014, Pang has operated an electrophoresis paint factory in Yihezhuang village of Baigou Town without any formalities, hired Zhang to paint the iron pipes in the lever box, and discharged the waste water generated during the production process directly underground without treatment, contaminating the water source. Upon enquiry, Pang and Zhang confessed to the illegal facts of continuing to produce sewage after receiving a decision from Baoding Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau to correct the illegal act.
