    B2Gold will reportedly open the world's first fully automated hybrid solar power plant in Namibia as a way to reduce fuel consumption
    in heavy fuel oil (HFO) power plants.

     

    To reduce greenhouse gas emissions, B2Gold approved the installation of a 7MW PV project at the mine, which was approved in October 2016 at an estimated cost of US$8.
