Azerbaijan's "Report" reported on November 22 that according to statistics from the Afghan Ministry of Agriculture, up to now, the output of Afghan cotton has reached 275,000 tons, and the national average output per hectare is 2,641 kg
.
In 2022, about 100,000 hectares of cotton will be planted, involving 16 administrative regions, of which the top four districts such as Satre, Agjabedi, Sabirabad and Barda accounted for 45%
of the planting area.
A total of 447 combine harvesters and 3,085 tractors were used in the cotton harvesting process, with a mechanized recovery rate of nearly 100%.
