According to the "General Work Plan for the Special Action for the Safety Production Transformation and Upgrading of the Chemical Industry in Shandong Province", the transformation and upgrading of the chemical industry is divided into three stages: from June 2017 to the end of 2017, carry out a large-scale investigation of the chemical industry in the province, rapid rectification and strict law enforcement, and resolutely To curb the occurrence of various accidents; from July 2017 to June 2020, carry out the transformation and upgrading of the chemical industry, and comprehensively accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the Shandong chemical industry and the conversion of new and old kinetic energy; from July 2020 to June 2022, Form a standardized and institutionalized long-term mechanism to cultivate the chemical industry into an important pillar industry that is safe and clean, green and low-carbon, intensive, innovative and efficient.

At the end of June 2017, Shandong Province launched a special action for the transformation and upgrading of safety production in the chemical industry, and a total of about 103,000 potential safety hazards in chemical companies were found.

Regarding the impact of the current wave of chemical plant shutdowns in Shandong Province, relevant experts said that it caused a certain degree of shortage of a few products and caused the price of some products to rise.

Relevant environmental protection staff said that compared with the upstream products of the chemical industry, this round of production suspension has a greater impact on downstream terminal enterprises in the chemical industry.

In the olefin industry chain, the upstream production companies are mainly refineries and large coal chemical companies.

However, because the downstream chlorohydrin process propylene oxide, butanol and plastic weaving industries have experienced a certain degree of production reduction, the consumption demand for olefins has been reduced, which will cause a certain amount of inventory pressure.

"From the perspective of synthetic rubber alone, the impact of the suspension of production on rubber products is not obvious.

The wave of production shutdowns has brought about a wave of unemployment.

Wang Chaoying, Inspector of the Shandong Provincial Economic and Information Commission, said that the chemical industry should focus on investigation and rectification, and continue to promote large-scale investigations, quick rectification, and strict enforcement of emergency actions; further promote chemical companies to enter the park; use rating and evaluation as the starting point to achieve "Reduce" chemical companies.
