Arkema to acquire LIP Bygngsartikler, a leading producer of construction chemicals

Arkema announced that its subsidiary Bostik will acquire LIP Bygngsartikler AS (LIP), a Danish leader in tile adhesives, waterproofing systems and flooring production solutions

LIP develops, produces and sells tile adhesives, waterproofing systems and flooring production solutions with annual sales of approximately EUR 30 million

The company employs around 50 people and has a state-of-the-art production site in Nørre Aaby, Denmark, with a highly automated and carbon-neutral factory

As a leading supplier of high value-added products in Denmark, LIP provides customers with comprehensive solutions based on its well-known brands and more than 50 years of experience

LIP and Bostik are highly complementary geographically and in business, and the acquisition will enable Bostik to provide integrated, innovative and high value-added solutions to customers in the Nordic countries

Following the recent acquisition of Prochimir's high-performance films business in October, Arkema will use this latest acquisition to further expand its specialty adhesives business
