Argentina's "Clarion" website reported on July 29 that in the first half of 2022, Argentina's agricultural exports set new records in both volume and valu.
According to statistics from the Rosario Grain Exchange, Argentina exported a total of 53 million tons of grain and oilseed crops in the first half of the year, the highest export volume in the same perio.
The total exports of five important crops including soybean, corn, wheat, barley and sunflower and their by-products increased by 8% year-on-year, of which corn exports increased by 6%, soybeans decreased by 16%, wheat increased by 65%, barley increased by 40%, and sunflower increased by 15.
Benefiting from good international market prices, the export value of major agricultural products in the first half of the year reached 2654 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 28.
