Foreign media news on October 26: Ukraine exported 27 million tons of corn in 2021/22, an increase of 13% from 23.
9 million tons in 2020/21, and the third largest export size
after record exports in 2018/19 (nearly 30 million tons), according to consulting agency APK-Inform.

Exports in November, December 2021, February, August and September 2022 all reached new highs, with December setting an all-time record for a single month
.

The largest importer of Ukrainian corn in 2021/22 was China, with 6 million mt, down 29%
year-on-year.
Spain imported 3.
1 million mt, up 11% year-on-year, and Romania imported 2.
5 million mt, compared to 379,700 mt in 2020
/21.

APK-Inform forecasts that if the "grain corridor" is extended, Ukraine's corn exports in 2022/23 will reach 24 million mt, down 11%
year-on-year.
In a pessimistic scenario, Ukraine's corn exports will fall to 14.
4 million mt, down 47%
year-on-year.
