Recently, PPG announced the opening of a new plant covering an area of nearly 450,000 square feet (41,800 square meters) in Flower Mound, Texas, making it the largest architectural coatings and coatings distribution center in the company's US and Canadian network.
Tim Knavish, Senior Vice President of PPG Global Architectural Coatings and President of Europe, Middle East and Africa, said, “PPG is committed to making major strategic investments in the architectural coatings business.
This plant is another example of our commitment to growing our business and strengthening our overall distribution strategy.
"The distribution center is located in the Lakeside Ranch business park in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area and serves more than 1,000 PPG paint stores, national retailers and independent retailers in the southwestern United States.
It can store more than 4 million gallons (15 million liters) of more than 4,500 unique paint and coating products.
Don Donatelli, Director of Distribution and Logistics of PPG Architectural Coatings, said, “At PPG, meeting customer needs is our top priority.
