Algeria's official news agency "Algeria" released a report on February 7 entitled "Algeria receives 4,000 tons of milk powder ".

In a statement to Algeria's National Shipping Company, general manager Ismail Abdul-Malek said that in recent days various ports in Algeria (Algiers, Oran and Annaba) have 160 containers of milk powder with a total weight of 4,000 tons were unloaded
.

Of these, 60 containers were shipped from Bologna to Algeria by the French container shipping company CMA-CGM, and another 100 containers were loaded from the Belgian port of Anfer by ships from the Algerian fleet

20 containers of milk powder will also be received in mid-February
.

He said it was a "common" practice to turn to other freight companies, which allowed national carriers to meet the needs of their customers when their own vessels were unavailable for some reason, such as the National Milk Joint Professional Office this time

"The sensitivity and importance of this shipment necessitated the mobilization of special human and material resources in order to transport the goods from Bologna to Algeria in optimal conditions," the head of CMA-CGM said in a statement

In addition, the cargo ship MV KARLA docked at the Port of Annaba on February 4, where the first batch of milk powder was unloaded, and the second batch of milk powder was unloaded at the Port of Oran the next day
