At the International Home Furnishing Market Spring 2022 in High Point, wood manufacturers and designers will hear from experts at AkzoNobel's Wood Coatings Global Color and Design Studio, the color trends shaping the furniture market this year

The experts at Global Wood Paint Color & Design Studio have constructed four different color palettes to bring these trends to life using Color of the Year:

These palettes are expected to have a major impact on home decor in 2022, including furniture, flooring, cabinets and building products

AkzoNobel's wood design experts constructed these four different palettes on wood substrates such as cabinets and showed how techniques such as wire brushing and heavy distressing can add depth to the finish

The wood design team then worked closely with the commercial team to ensure the finishes created at High Point were durable and industrializable for clients around the world
