Back in September, the Redwood Coast Energy Authority (RCEA) and a consortium of private companies, including Aker Solutions, applied for a lease to build a 100-150 MW floating offshore wind farm

The project aims to help California reach its goal of carbon neutrality by using 100 percent clean electricity
by 2045.
The CEO of Aker Solutions revealed, "We applied and we believe it (lease) will be granted to us

We have the ability to build floating oil structures
.
”
