On November 26, FirstElement Fuel Inc and Air Liquide signed a renewable hydrogen energy supply agreement
.
Air Liquide Group will invest more than US$150 million to build a new liquid hydrogen production plant
.
After the agreement is reached, FirstElement Fuel will provide customers of the True Zero hydrogen refueling station network with 100% renewable liquid hydrogen, helping the company achieve the goal of zero greenhouse gas emissions through hydrogen energy retail
.
? FirstElement currently operates 19 True Zero retail hydrogen refueling stations, and 12 more are under development
.
The True Zero hydrogen refueling station network covers San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay Area, as well as Santa Barbara and Lake Tahoe
.
Since the first hydrogen refueling station was put into operation in January 2016, the True Zero network has successfully completed more than 230,000 hydrogen refueling tasks, equivalent to 52 million miles of driving distance, and replaced gasoline with zero-emission fuel cells, avoiding more than 32 million pounds of greenhouse gas emissions (carbon dioxide equivalent)
