Inflammation is the body's defense response to pathogenic microorganisms, noxious stimuli, or physical injury

Cyclophilin A ( CypA ) is a peptidylprolyl cis-trans isomerase widely present in various tissues

In this study, a model of LPS -induced acute pneumonia was constructed using wild-type and CypA knockout mice , and the role of CypA in different stages of inflammation was analyzed .

The precise regulation pattern of CypA on IL-1β- mediated inflammation in different stages of inflammation

This study revealed the regulatory mechanism of CypA on IL-1β- mediated inflammation in different stages of inflammation, which is helpful for in-depth understanding of the complex and fine regulatory process of inflammatory response, and provides a basis for anti-inflammatory drug research and IL-1β- related inflammation and tumors.

The above study was published in the journal Cell Reports , titled "Delicate regulation of IL-1β-mediated inflammation by cyclophilin A"
