PolyOne today announced the launch of ColorMatrix™ Amosorb™ 4020G, a non-nylon-based low-fog oxygen scavenger for rigid PET packaging

It is understood that this new 4020G grade can achieve up to 50% lower haze compared to the original grade, reducing the impact on the PET circulating flow, while maintaining the same reliable ROS scavenging performance

Commonly used in food and beverage packaging, PET offers design flexibility and high permeability for easy multiple recycling

ColorMatrix Amosorb 4020G not only helps reduce haze, but also reduces the impact on recycled PET (rPET), which can reduce yellowing by 50% during mechanical recycling
