A new path for the development of natural lymphocytes outside the bone marrow was discovered for the first time |
Science and Technology Daily, Hefei, March 28 (Reporter Wu Changfeng) The reporter learned from the University of Science and Technology of China that the team of Professor Tian Zhigang, Professor Peng Hui, Professor Sun Xian, and Professor Eric Vivier of the University of Marseille in France have found that the hematopoietic precursor cells of adult liver The differentiation potential and regulation mechanism of type 1 natural lymphocytes (liver ILC1, that is, liver colonizing NK cells), reveal the new path of natural lymphocytes outside the bone marrow development.
The occurrence of hematopoietic immunity of the body is a dynamic and orderly process.
The research group compared fetal liver, adult liver, bone marrow and peripheral blood hematopoietic precursor cells and found that there are a group of Lin−Sca-1+Mac-1+ (LSM) cells in adult mouse liver that are similar to fetal liver hematopoietic stem cells.
The findings of this research reveal a new path of extramedullary development of innate lymphocytes and provide an important theoretical basis for explaining the formation of the liver's natural immune dominant state.
