    Argentina’s National Agri-Food, Health and Quality Agency (SENASA) is currently evaluating proposals for new sanitation agreements to detect new crown cases.
    These agreements are jointly proposed by the companies that make up the Fisheries Chamber of Commerce, including companies that specialize in exporting fishery products to China
    .

     
    The agreement made a series of adjustments to the export sampling plan to adapt to this new situation in the new crown pandemic and to promote more people to be vaccinated
    .
    The proposal includes a review of the vaccination plan developed by Argentina and a special description of the main port cities for the development of fisheries
    .
    It also contains requirements, procedures and prerequisites for the export of fishery products produced by our country’s land and fishing and processing enterprises
    .
     
    The document contains a table that specifies the number of samples to be collected based on the number of fishing boat factories/crew
    .
    On land factories, every 15 days, on fishing boats, before the start of each trip to sea
    .

     
    Companies with no more than 29 employees must take 6 samples; 30 to 149 employees require 7 samples
    .
    Companies with 150-299 people need 8 samples, and companies with more than 300 people need 13 samples
    .
    In sampling, it meets the technical requirements of López, Signorini and Leotta
    .
     
      At the request of the employers’ chamber of commerce, the technical staff’s amendments will not replace the training, evaluation and preventive actions that have been carried out so far, including the requirements and suggestions of the Argentine Ministry of Health, SENASA, contract companies of the Ministry of Fisheries, trade unions and GACC
    .
     
      The document exemplifies the sampling method.
    The sampling is random and will cover all production areas related to food exported to China: processing, packaging, storage and transportation
    .
    If a positive case of COVID-19 is detected, SENSASA will be notified and will take action in accordance with the entity's resolution 346/2020
    .
    Products produced from the date of detection of a positive case to the previous 7 days will not be shipped to China
    .
     
      For on-board inspections, PCR will be performed each time before boarding without isolation based on the number of crew members on each ship
    .
    Once a negative result is obtained, personnel must board the ship immediately
    .
    "All crew members must receive at least two doses of vaccines," the agreement drawn up by Intercámaras shows
    .
     
      SENASA drafted this document at the request of the Chamber of Commerce, which covers the entire production chain of the fishery sector
