From 0-24 on May 24, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 15 new confirmed cases, including 13 imported cases (3 in Shanghai, 2 in Tianjin, 2 in Shanxi, Fujian 2 cases, 1 case in Jiangsu, 1 case in Hunan, 1 case in Sichuan, 1 case in Shaanxi), 2 cases of local cases (both in Anhui); no new deaths; no new suspected cases.

On the same day, 21 new cases were cured and discharged, and 202 close contacts were released from medical observation.

There are currently 289 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 3 severe cases) and 2 suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on May 24, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are currently 319 confirmed cases (including 3 severe cases), a total of 86,051 cured and discharged cases, and a total of 4,636 deaths.

31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 18 new asymptomatic infections, of which 16 were imported from abroad and 2 were imported from China (1 in Anhui and 1 in Guangdong); 2 were converted to confirmed cases on the same day ( 1 case imported from abroad); 15 cases were released from medical observation on the same day (all imported from abroad); 389 cases of asymptomatic infection were still under medical observation (363 cases imported from abroad).
