From 0-24:00 on February 28, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 19 newly confirmed cases, all of which were imported cases (9 in Sichuan, 6 in Guangdong, 2 in Beijing, 2 in Shanghai) Cases); no new deaths; no new suspected cases.

On the same day, 27 new cases were cured and discharged, and 166 close contacts were released from medical observation.
