Take the large VOCs emission paint industry as an example.
With the further implementation of the levy of VOCs pollution discharge fees, it is bound to increase the production cost of solvent-based coatings, that is, the production profit of paint products will be directly reduced.
Yang Yuanyi, vice chairman of the China Chemical Industry Society, revealed that at present, on the application side, the comprehensive cost of water paint and other environmentally friendly coatings is close to that of paint products.
It is understood that the Ministry of Environmental Protection has issued a series of VOCs monitoring standards and governance plans since the "13th Five-Year Plan" outline included VOCs as binding indicators for the first time .
At present, 18 provinces ( autonomous regions and municipalities ) including Beijing, Shanghai, Hunan, Jiangsu and Anhui have issued standard policies for the collection of VOCs pollution discharge fees.
